o btw heres a angled pic of the runaways so you have a better idea of what they look like. also if someone could photoshop the bronze runaways on my picture id greatly appriciate it. or the black with the red lip it dosent really matter

I don't mind waiting on the runaways. Uncle Sam will owe me some money sometime in January, so that'll help. I have to opt for 17" personally. I just bought new rubber about 1 1/2 months ago. Plus decent tires in 18" mean I'll be on the Ramen noodle diet for way too long.(nuts)

Sierra, I don't know the price of 18s, but 17s are $550 shipped before the GB discount. I was quoted no firm numbers, but "a steep discount" was offered. Also, all rims may need to be in the same size, I'm not sure quite yet. I'll check today and post here, so check back.
I'll also check to see what exact colors these are going to be available in. I believe there will be at least gold, black, and hyper silver. Most likely others. Again, I'll check and post here.

i am pretty sure to run a GB you need to be authorized as a merchant member... which really isn't hard i am pretty sure you just need to give your contact info to antoine.. give him a pm to figure things out please. thread closed until antoine and drledford93 are on the same page...

Can somebody post pics of all versions listed in post#13, that might help this thread grow. I'm sure there are many of us that want lighter rims than stock.

And I like the Konig Runaways too, in Black with Red lip. That's sick! Especially on a TR MS3.

Stock rims are 24lbs. These rims (both Konigs) are ~16lbs for the 17x7" size. That should translate into some good performance and handling gains.
As I said above, the black/red combo on the Runaways won't be available until late December.

Yes, I was told they'd come in late December '07. Evidently, they have JUST been released by Konig.
To be up front with everyone, with the loss of my job yesterday and me learning that I am facing another brain surgery in the next month or so, I probably won't be able to participate in the GB right now. (hand) However, I will still get this set up for everyone else. The way it will work is that once I have talked to the vendor, you will individually place an order with them and just reference my name to get the group buy discount. (Probably my screen name, but I will clear that up later.)
I originally wanted to set this up to help myself get a great set of wheels for less $$, but now I'll pass it on and hopefully get some good karma along the way. (thumb)

Sorry to let this thread sit for a bit, but the guy I was looking at doing this buy from is not returning calls for some reason. (weakest) However, I'll try one more time today. If I can't, then I may need to change vendors. The price should still be good, but maybe a little higher--I don't know. I'll try to get the same wheel, but it may need to change (ie/ to one of the other wheels listed. I'll just have to see.)
To answer one of the questions that was out there--You can order a different diameter (ie/ 18" vs 17"), as long as it is in stock. The first vendor seemed to be very flexible.
MODS--Please let me know if I need to let you guys know of the different vendor. I will if need be.
