GI: GB:Custom Mazdaspeed Optima Battery trays

We all know Optima is by far, one of the best batteries out there.
But they dont exactly fit perfectly into our battery tray.

I have found a local guy that custom makes optima enclosures for all size optimas
and all types of vehicles. This would NOT be just MSP specific.

They will make us a custom polished tray with a top cut-out that will be the MAZDASPEED
logo...here is the link to get an idea.

I am waiting for a virtual CAD from them and will post it when I get it.

They are regularly 199.00 shipped. He said once I get an idea on how many we would
like, he'll give me a price.

Also give me some other Ideas...Im thinking just MAZDASPEED etched on top so our
other mazda friend can get in on this.

I think this would be very sharp and look great under our hoods

Would these trays fit onto stock battery tray or would these replace and hold battery down?

My Optima fits perfectly, just need to use the adapter plate and have the correct battery size.

It would replace the entire tray. It is a tray with exact optima cut outs ( looks like the bottom of a 6 pack) with a hold down and a
custom cover.

This would be close to $199? For a battery tray? I have an optima and would like a tray, but anything even near that price is crazy...

Its not just a tray. I assume you didnt check the link...its far from just a tray.

This is a great way to dress your engine bay and 199 is retail. We will not be paying retail

I know. Im still waiting. I wouldnt of posted yet if I knew it would take so long...

He needs a stock tray so its a exact match and will bolt right in for us. I cant send mine as its a daily driver...

Theres a guy around here that totaled his car pretty bad and im just waiting for him to part out.
