Signature products are a very high quality!! Trust me i have the 3' downpipe coated and the whole nine yards! It wasn't a crazy amount of money! If you have an open downpipe the power flows better and wont' create a bottle neck effect at boost. Also just to clear something up with everyone and all the haters!!! He's not making a CHEAP product!! He's making an amazing product at a reasonable cost! He understands that people wanna mod their cars but don't have all the money in the world!

Just to give you guys an update.

Parts are on order, and the exhaust flange has been ordered for machining. The flange is 3 weeks out.

Im sure we will post up pics once the prototype has been made.

work on the manifold resumes this weekend. here are a few shots of what we have so far:

1/2" thick stainless steel flanges

100% beautiful TIG welding

1.5" inside diameter piping

Schedule 30 thickness (1/8" wall thickness) STAINLESS STEEL Investment cast for strength and holding heat

and how it will basically look installed

this has many MANY benefits; easyiest to install, clears fan shrouds, minimal bends for highest flow, looks great, best position for downpipe routing (minimal bends)

We are working on wastegate location and downpipe fab this weekend. should have a few more pics to post soon. for anyone really looking for the best manifold without STOCK replacement concerns, this is your manifold. It will be built as strong as the steedspeed, flow better than any other manifold and have more standard features like ceramic coating than any other manifold. Price will be less than steedspeed, but uncertain on exact amount until its completed.

thanks guys. just wait until you see all the things that will be offered with this. Colored Ceramic coating, titanium heat wrap, O2 bung placement, turbo blanket, T2 or T3 flanges... there might even be an option for a 3.5" downpipe! we cant promise that yet, but are working on making it happen.

I want a bigger turbo now or two small ones.

Twin turboing a tiny motor like this would not be a good idea. Plus the space restriction is one of its biggest issues. A bigger turbo is good, if you mean the right size for the power you want. Compressor maps should carefully be studied to ensure you will not surge. If you pick the wrong size turbo, you will do more bad than good.

UPDATE:

Heres where we sit right now. The manifold fits great and will bolt up as easy or easier than an N/A header. All bolts are easily accessed. The downpipe will be available with 3.5" diameter. Highest flowing system available ever. Equal length runners will increase torque and bottome end response will spool the turbo much, much quicker. All thats left is getting the downpipe fabricated, wastegate pipe fabricated and compressor outlet adapter fabricated.

We are throwing around the idea that this system needs a bit more and would like to make an air to water intercooler system for it. This would have the option to run a chiller box to bring the air temps below ambient. Also the shorter pipe length will increase turbo efficiency by reducing pressure drop that commonly occurs in most air to air systems.

are we looking at ac removal

valid question. wont know for sure until we get one sent out to someone that has it. I will say that most people that want this system are going to remove their power robbing, heavy ass a/c anyway. It would be a big plus if it was retained for those that live in the climates that really need it tho.
