GI: 505 Cold Air Box Round 2

I've been getting a lot of requests for these over the past couple weeks, so I think it's about time for round 2!

The Gist:

- Cold air temps (tested up to ~145*F colder vs SRI under normal operating conditions)
- No hydrolock risk that is common with standard CAI setups
- Less filter cleaning vs other SRI and CAI setups

The Details:

Add yourself to the list if you're interested and tell me what you need, be it a full kit for sedan, or a box only for wagon, etc. I also need to know if you are turbo or N/A, and what kind of finishing option you want.

Pricing from the original GB is going to hold up about the same, and I need upwards of 10 boxes to make the old prices work and get this party rollin'. (rockon)

The new all-in-one flange is going to be ultra expensive, so it might even INCREASE the price. Not 100% sure on that either way yet. What it WILL do is make the fuel rail mounts a dead perfect match with the stocker, make it so there are ZERO inconsistencies from manifold to manifold, and cut down on the actual fab-time after the components are machined. It should also look incredibly cool too.

I still have a gen 2 unused. is there anyway I could "trade up?"

Question about N/A kit........Does the piping have breather port for vc and hole for IAT sensor? If not where is that mounted? on the box? Cannot see it from pics of N/A installs..........Definitely ready to purchase whenever they are ready.




I went back to original thread and think I see where you have hole on backside of box facing battery where the IAT goes, just can't see it installed there in any of the pics. Is that where it goes?

I have the NA kit. Yes there is both a breather port for the VC and hole for IAT on the back of the box.
