We're getting ready to design and fabricate a full stainless steel race exhaust for the MSP and I'd like to gauge interest here for that type of system. The system is going to have a variety of unique features to it to benefit the enduser. We will have removable resonators and mufflers for customer customization, preinstalled non-foulers to prevent check engine lights, stainless steel flex coupling to lessen the effect of engine vibration on the exhaust and full stainless steel flanges and 3 1/4 inch piping all the way back. Currently we are exploring doing it as a J-pipe back but will consider S-pipe options as well. Price range will be comparable to the Vibrant system on the market. Let me know if there is interest for more than just a one off system and I'll get it produced.

If you decide to make a S pipe, and it can attach to the same flanges as the apexr1 j pipe has then im down! :)

sounds like something i would be interested in if i actually had money, lol. As it is i'll probably end up just buying a catback to mate up with my midpipe. But it seems to me that if you offered a full turboback in large diameter, it would be good competition to the GHL system, which pretty much commands the top of the exhuast range, seems to me anywho.

Id definitely be interested in something like this Ken :D Very nice sized system! As far as removable resonators and mufflers go.....your saying like a flange at the end of the exhaust system to mount a muffler of your choice?? Im not talking like an axle back btw. If so, i would love this.....theres quite a few systems out there, but i do not like the mufflers any of them come with or how they are mounted.

Also, how would you go along routing this system? Over the axle or under?

Thanx for attempting something like this Ken.

sounds a little big, 3 in was a task fitting it on my msp without it hitting and rattling on something

^ Werd. I had an issue with that on my previous P5, alot had to do with it being so low. I actually would like mine going under if its possible with that big ass piping.....

^^^It seems like overkill. I would say 3" is plenty, but if you could pull this off and make progress, then props to you.

Something of this nature would be Perfect imo.....

maybe you guys could also make a more "stock" option as well? same diameter pipe but with a smaller overall muffler to be closer to the stock look? I was actually wrestling with the idea of welding the tip onto a new exaust if I get one because I like the factory look but I need a better exaust. keep it up though! I definately want to see the final product it sounds like a good deal/buy!

Ive thought about doing that... but the fact that I have to install non-foulers and wouldnt be able to pass emissions... not that its a huge deal for me but all that work for not the same amount of gains.. I want a full system I just dont want the HUGE muffler.... not a huge fan of it... I like our subtle yet goodlooking muffle/tip.

you guys probably think Im crazy but lol I like it like that.

if you were to install a system like this and re-use the stock muffler you risk bottlenecking the system and negating much of the performance gain

My setup goal right now is.

cs-s/j
cs pwoer series exhuast /w cat and resignator removed
stock mazda speed axel back.
/w street units motor mount kit.

im almost complete

still really interested in this setup thou.
