GHL Pricing and Info

This just goes to show to all those other companies that doubted the demand for this piece that the demand is out there. I bet GHL's phones have been ringing off the hook since this piece came out. This should be a lesson to all possible manufacturers and vendors, pay attention to what people say they want, and you will make money!

ok, website appears to have no info so I'll post another how much question.

How much for this with out the s pipe, just take the pipe up to about the oil pan, no cats or resonators, and no muffler? Just take the pipe out the stock location, flush with the bumper.

Actually if you could just make up the piping, no hangers, no 02 bung, nothing, just a bare straight pipe from the oil pan to the bumper. I dont even need any flanges just the 2 or 3 sections that make up the system. Dont even need it polished or any of that. I can do all of the rest.

I had planned on doing this with 3" J bends from Summit, but I would so rather use your piping and add my muffler and elbow up to my turbo downpipe (or "S" pipe as you call it)

I will probably go with a supertrapp muffler. (I love the sound of them)

I also have a FedEx account if you dont mind having them pick it up from you.

Does this S-pipe require removing the entire factory manifold with turbo like the Ion instructions show?

Unless your arms and hands are made of rubber.

I dont even know what to say about this one. If all you need is some polished bends call the shop and speak with Jeff and Im sure he can figure something out for you.

Just a heads up, while we were waiting for the MSP to come back to make the adjustments a Z06 we were building headers for came back for the final jig. That just needs to be put back together and then tommorow the Mazda goes back on the lift to be finished.

In case anyone is interested, the GHL header and X pipe combination made 40 whp on the Z06.

Its kind of hard to call through the day for me. Im not around a phone

I just basically want your pipe already made up, but without the "s" pipe, cat, resonator or muffler.

I'm assuming you have a jig or something already fabbed up. Just leave off everything . Dont need the polish or anything. I dont want to do it myself out of cut up and welded bends. Yours is clean as can be. I'll just add my muffler and tie it into my s pipe.
Make sense?

Would the full turboback with cat pass emissions and not throw a cel? I just wouldn't want to make it a habit taking this full exhaust on and off.

As long as there is a cat, you shouldn't throw a cel. Passing emissions depends on the rest of your car in addition to the exhaust, as I think that you should be able to pass emissions, as long as your car is running smooth.

Nice numbers on the z06 :) Looks like I'll be getting a bit of money from insurance from being hit... I may be able to give you guys some business soon!

Ok I re-read all of this and it looks like a cat back system would be $595. Minus the muffler would be $545. And this would bolt up to my 3" apex downpipe correct?
How much if there was no resonator either? Would it drone bad without it? I want the exhaust as open as can be, but I want it deep not drone/rice.

Damn. $545 still seems a bit steep for some welded up mandrel 90's. Thats over 1/2 what I have in my entire turbo setup!

Hmmm. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Ditch the apex dp and get the full exhaust, that S-pipe is a killer. Indiana Woot!!!

i just wish someone would update me on the production of these things. wrote an email about a week ago, and have yet to get a reply. also called, and have yet to have my call returned. so...if one of you GHL guys reads this, or if anyone else knows, please fill me in.

GHL has been SLAMMED with orders left and right since they released this exhaust, from what I've heard. They posted the times they receive calls in one of their threads, somewhere...
