getting new tires need help

ok some i need new front tires
i want to upgrade to potenzas re-11 225-45r-18
my rear tires are fine
is this a bad idea to have to different tires on my car and will the 225 rub in front(cars NOT lowered)

no the the tires wont rub on the front. I would say get 4 and keep them the same size just for rotational purposes. If you ignore the rears and they are slick you will loose traction on turns. Even thought it is FWD your rear tires to a huge amount of traction

You should rotate em out!
never run different front/rear compound.
