i understand that the bushings are under warrenty to get them replaced on the mp3, but i have a injen intake on my car and doens't that void the warrenty, will the dealership look/or be allowed to look under the hood of my car, well replacing the bushings?... i don't think they should have to/ need to but am i allowed to say your not allowed to look or do they have the right to do it... please get back to me about this!.. i wanna get the bushings fixed but i don't wanna avoid my warrenty, should i change back to my factory intake?

I asked my dealership about the intakes...he said that as long as the intake doesn't effect the performance of the motor in a bad way that you will not lose your warranty...even if something does happen to the motor but it has nothing to do with the intake...you are fine...don't worry about it...

There is a law out there that says unless the performance part as something to do with the malfunction and they can proove it. The dealer can't void the warranty just b/c its on there, use the search feature on the board and search for warranty, i know its out there somewhere b/c i've found it.

I'm doing a search right now to see if i can find it, if so then i'll post it, if not you'll hafta do a lil searching yourself:

THis should help:

Has anyone thought of taking our bushings issue to energy suspension? I'm not sure anything would happen, but it would be cool if they decided to make a bushings kit for our Proteges and it's not like they wouldn't have a market to sell to. There are plenty of MP3, ES, P5 owners out there who are autocrossing or track racing. Upgraded suspension bushings and sway bar bushings would tighten up the MP3 that much more in hard corners. I don't know, I'm probably just thinking nonsense, but it may be worth a shot.:)

MP3_boy...don't worry about the intake. Although I haven't added it on yet, I also have an Injen CAI and specifically asked my dealership whether it would cause issues. Like the others also pointed out, there are actual laws(in the states anyhow, but I'm in Canada like you).

BTW, where in Canada are you living....it justs says Canada under your profile.
