getin rid of cat

this guy i met sent me this site www.racingpipes.com for about 40 bucks or so they make straight pipes that replace the cat.. I just wanted to know wat size pipe does our stock mp3s come with, is it the 2 inch or 2.5 inch- also has anyone done this, how is it

I did it on my probe... it sounded like ass. It made the exhaust sound raspy and ricey, and that was a v6. Probalby worse on a I4.

Not to mention, it's very illegal. If you get caught and the cop or judge is in a bad mood, you will be fined thousands of dollars.

Instead, try getting a high flow cat. The universal ones can be had for 50 bucks or so at JCWhitney.

Oh, but to answer your question the piping is 2.25" i believe.
