Thank goodness they were already separated by design/size/color, so I just put them in stacks & got them ready to stuff into envelopes

Now I have to step out for a while. My Mom had a total knee replacement the other day & they just transferred her to a long term care facility for inpatient rehab. I have to get her insurance cards, clothes, etc. to her ASAP.

I'll get pics of the shirts when I start stuffing envelopes in a few hours. Planning a trip to the Post Office bright & squirrely.

While I was out tonight, I delivered 2 shirts to locals. When I came home, it took me about 2-2.5 hours to sort, stuff, and seal all of the envelopes. I snapped a few quick pics of the shirts, as well as the packing process. Apologies for the bad lighting; that's just the way my living room is.

I'm very happy with the quality of the shirts, but since I know Craig's work, that's no surprise. I hope all of you are as satisfied as I am once you get them.

I know its been said before but its worth mentioning again, thanks for all your work for these shirts. They look great and I can't wait to get it, thanks again!

Hats off!

As the first person to actually be wearing the coveted MS3 logo, I would like to take this opportunity to thank bill for all his hard work
(kissass)

He had other things on his mind when he was packin the shirts.

Above and beyond the call for sure

Shirts look sweet. Thanks for all of your hard work in getting them made and sent out to us.

Wow, wow, wow. Remember I said I was trying to estimate this whole thing to make it as close to non-profit as possible? Well, the shirts have shipped, and here's the final tally for everything, all rounded to the nearest dollar...

Total Paypal collected: $1252.00
My cost for shirts: -$841.00 (excludes MY personal shirts)
Shipping to me: -$31.00
Less PayPal fees: -$54.00
Shipping materials -$76.00 (envelopes, tape)
Cost to ship all pkgs: -$253.00
Net: -$3.00

Un. Freaking. Believable. This means I have no overage to toss in the jar for Jerry's Kids or Ronald McDonald House, but that's OK. Can't believe the estimate worked out that close. If I took back the extra roll of tape I bought, it'd be just about dead even.

Just for kicks, here's a Crackberry photo of the USPS receipt stuck on the side of my fridge:

Oh, and by the way... the packages varied in weight from about 7 oz. all the way up to 1 lb, 6 oz. (22 oz). The very helpful fellow at the Post Office shipped them by 3 different methods, based on weight. The smallest ones went First Class, for 2-3 day delivery. The medium sized ones went Priority Mail for 1-2 day delivery, because it was literally a nickel more ($4.95 instead of $4.90 for First Class). But some of the larger ones had to go by Parcel Post for ~$7, which may take up to 6-7 days. Those weren't even eligible for First Class, and would have been over $10 to ship Priority.

So, some folks on the East Coast, and even the Midwest may have their shirts as soon as Monday. Hopefully, everyone has them by next Saturday.

And just because I have no life, here's the breakdown of shipping methods, using only your ZIP Code. Find your ZIP, know what to expect. If your ZIP appears in more than one list, it means you probably have 2 envelopes of different weights coming...

FIRST CLASS: 92008, 11787, 08758, 45140, 85743, 79936, 80530, 40245, 75057, 17408, 75025, 11581, 75056, 48375, 98629, 75150, 91501, 95014, 27522

Priority Mail: 60051, 92647, 21061, 48390 (2), 60502, 60181, 76053, 32309 (2), 11758, 29680, 27703, 45217, 14450, 53207, 78729

Parcel Post: 98629, 45342, 94403, 13901, 20121, 03101, 73170, 34609, 46254, 31829, 62549, 14450, 21701

Ironically, 21701 is the same ZIP code the shirts came from. Didn't notice that until I received the shirts, or I could've maybe saved your shirt the round trip. LOL

I did make a quick visual inspection of all the shirts for blemishes, printing errors, etc., and did not notice any. If you receive your shirt and find any major problems, let me know. The worst irregularity I found was actually on one of my shirts, where I had some stray strings hanging out of the shoulder seams. Quick snip, all better.

Oh, and just curious... it was just weird timing, but how many people saw the post where I was showing off my new wheels & tires and started to worry that I'd collected all that PayPal & spent it on that? Hope the pics alleviate your fears, if there were any, and sorry if you stressed over it at all.

ENJOY, EVERYONE!!!

ENJOY, EVERYONE!!!

My shirt arrived so quickly the envelope sheared away from the friction.
The mailman must have been using a SPEED3 to deliver it

hmm do those 3 white envelopes have special prizes in them? hahaha
Thanks Bill!

LOL, those are the ones laced with anthrax. Hehheh.

Nah, the manila padded envelopes were only sold in packages of 12. The white ones were extra singles I needed, rather than buying a whole extra 12-pack of the manila ones.

We are going to have to give you another project to chew on after your sabbatical. Maybe global warming or something on a bit larger scale. You have my vote, for whatever. Seriously. I hope all goes well with the rehab, i would like to send best wishes for a quick and full recovery to your Mom. Thanks Mr. C
