gauge trim rings?

I just noticed that in most of the dash pics of the MSP's here have black rings around the gauges. Mine has silver ones. Which of them are stock? I've been finding little things on my MSP that were replaced and I'm just wondering if this is just another part replaced. The car was sold to me as an unmolested speed with just 19,000 miles on it from a mazdaspeed dealer. Now I'm wondering what all was done to it!!!

black is stock. those look like daveb rings. a few other vendors made them, too.

i had them in my p5. best 35 i ever spent on the car in terms of cost/impact.

Not sure how long you've had the ride or what you have put in, but the a pillar gauges are not stock either. and in the pic in your sig. The grill is Aftermarket.

I added the grill and pod. these were things in my opinion that should have been on there from the get go. I was talking about different sway bar bushings, miss routed vac. lines, the gauge rings and some other stuff.

I completely agree with the addition of gauge pods ect. It should have atleadt come with a boost gauge!!!
What gauges are you running. They look like either stewart warner or autometer ulta-lite's.

yes they are the ultra lites. looks really great in the day time cause they match the dash ( especially with the silver rings ) but at night the whole thing lights up red instead of just the numbers. I should have flipped the extra $$$ for the ultra lite II's

try go to the sls site. they had a blow out on the rings. theyre replica daveB rings. i got some. they fit well and easy to install. i think i got mine for 30ish? i think authentic ones go for much more.
