Ok, so it's just about time to install my boost gauge this weekend and wanted some inputs on where I should put it. Here are the options:

#1

#2

#3

Interested to see the outcome...

I like #2 for 2 reasons.
It's out of the way and it's by the tach, which is probably where you'll be looking anyway.

#3 looks much better integrated than 2. #2 looks like it's just sitting out in the middle of nowhere, while 3 looks like it's at least part of the gauge cluster. If #1 wouldn't have blocked so much, I'd say 1 for the same reasoning.

Besides, 3 will be less likely to get reflections from the side window.

I like number 3....already near the stuff you look at already.

You will be disappointed after you get the boost gauge hooked up and see what actual boost you are putting down....I know I was.

I had to vote for that since it gave me a laugh, but in reality I agree with everyone else and say #2.

It's funny that you say that, because one of the things that shocked me is how low the boost runs during regular driving. Most times it maxes out at about 5 psi. I have gotten it as high as about 13psi, but that was driving very aggressively, more so than I would do on a daily basis.

Anyway, for those interested, I did install in location #2. Here are some very blurry pics from my cell phone:

Full install to come...

Prosport Electronic Boost Gauge. Main reason I got it was because the colors matched the stock panel (white day/orange evening). Not to mention the price was pretty reasonable...

Thats what I thought...I considered putting those in my MSP....looks like a great match, nice!

Man, i just reminded myself how piss-poor those photos are. I really do intend on doing a how-to. Maybe I'll take some better photos tonight...
