Does Anyone here ordered this from www.gaugepods.com?
Wondering if the fitting is good. All I know is the gauges are recessed in the pod; consequently, the OEM dash plate must be cut for clearance :(

any comments would be appreciated!

what i've read: no, the fitting is not good; cust service isn't that great. I remember that LoTek, the company who makes these had an ebay auction where the gauge was really cheap, but it had a catch: the winner has to send them a pic of it installed within 30 days. sure enough, no one even bothered to bid on the auction.

look at the gauge for the 6-- perfect. How could they make that molded so well, and make this which has to be held on to the dash with "tacks"?

yes the one for the 6 look perfect, more than the one for the mazda3...
Any alternative to this?
I didn't saw anything else for the mazda3, except pillar gauge but we have side air bag so we can't use this.

I guess I have to wait to see new products release for the MSP3!

That company is local to me and I was the "mock-up" car. Needless to say I was very dissapointed in the end result. I felt like they really didn't listen to me and my input. I think if it was molded in a little nicer it would be better. Plus having to cut the factory piece to fit the gauges sux.

You could always buy it knowing that you will have to modify it to fit...

Basically use it as a start point like I did with my pillar..

thanks ag bullet, to letting me know that!

Can I use a kind of plastic potty to make the joint invisible and paint it with a color that match the interior? That would be nice and look like an oem piece...

brian, your pillar is very nice!!!!!!! ;)

Yeah I'd suggest sanding it down and forming it to the dash yourself. Paint it, and apply it with 3m double sided tape. Should be alright for a start point, but definetaly not something for the weak at heart.
