The guys in Miami are having a picnic at markham park on the 18th and yo are all more welcome to join them if your up for the drive. I doubt it though. I seem to be the only one who doesnt mind driving all over the state.

you are awesome jo. and you are right you seem to be the only one that is willing to drive to the meets. nobody from up north seem to want to come down to miami. oh well.

I would consider a Miami drive down with a group of Mazdas, if I had a job. I was laid off my technical support job in May, a result of the tech market going down. My entire division was laid off, actually. Doing part time work right now, but need full time soon to keep my house and cars. Economic recovery my a$$. Anyway, I am sure if funds were available, myself, along with the others up here in north Florida would go. I have never actually been to Miami.

I think I am to blame for the date mixup. Looked at the wrong month! So I guess we oughta plan for the next weekend or after. I am game, just name the weekend.

Im going to school in gainesville but im a miami native , if anything im try doing it after aug. 12 b/c i'm going down to get my downpipe down with an exhaust !.

Some of the Tampa guys came down. missed a great time about 300 cars. It was maddness.

EDIT: My only day off is Monday...so I have to request off for every meet I attend.

My car is also pretty stock. Really boring, next to everyone else's cars with all the work done to it. That is kind of why I would only go to Miami with a group of others, so my car would not put people to sleep. I still like Mazdas, and meeting people, so maybe we can plan for the future.

I think the 24th of July would work fine for me.

I think Archer is a good meeting point. We can then go to wherever we plan to go from there. Can also discuss cruising down together to the statewide meet whenever it is.

OK, so we have July 24th down, and meeting somewhere on Archer Road. Lets think of what to do once we all meet up. Of course, I am thinking of food. Does anybody have a portable grill? We can go to a park which can accomodate us and our cars, then grill. Of course, everyone oughta bring something to cook. There is an Albertson's and a Publix right on Archer, so we can get stuff to cook then. How's that sound?
