I'm lowered on Eibach's. G-Games 77W come in a 42 offset. Thinking 205/40/17's... There are a few people running this offset and tire and I want to hear if you rub at all. I know 215's are a no no...

from what i hear, you won't rub unless you have people in the back or go over a large bump. and yes, 215 i a no no. i want the arospeed rs-gt's but they only come in a +42.

I have Tein H. Tech springs. Wheels are 17x7, 42 offset, tires are 205/40.

I don't rub but I have a sedan.

I'm running 205/40s with a 42 offset on my P5. Dropped on Eibachs. No rubbing whatsoever, even with a full load. From what I hear though you may still run into problems with this setup depending on the brand of tire.

90% of the time I'm the only one in the car. And right now I plan to get either the g-Force Sport from BF Goodwrench or Yoko AVS ES100's (had two sets of these and love em) in 205/40/17's.

If rubbing does become a problem I'm sure getting a shop to machine them won't be to expensive....

Anyone else running a 42 offset?

I am, on 16x7 Gramlight 57c's. I had to roll the fenders, but other than that, no issues and my car is slammed on JIC coilovers.

as stated, if you had a sedan you would be fine.....but with the P5....its iffy. I know that the YOKO has a raised ridge on it to protect your wheels....THEY WILL RUB with a +42 on a P5....that is a given...but you can't go wrong with those tires as you already know. I have them too and love them. IF you really like that wheel....do yourself a favor....buy them and have them machined to a +45 or so....then put the YOKO's on and start to cruise!

I'm also running a 42 offset. 17" Enkei RSV's w/ 205/40/17 Nitto Neo-Gen tires with Sprint 2" drop springs.

im running a 42 offset, but im getting them machined monday

Just a question, how did the machining of the wheels go? And what did it cost you to get it done? Got my wheels, and am looking at taking 5mm off to get a 45mm so I can tuck the tires also. Do you have any picts? Thanks.

i ran into a local msp own, i ended up selling him my old spoiler, he was running a +38 offset, and said he was rubbin at all.......dunno, he might have been foolin mebut i believe that is what he said....
