FYI -- rebate of $15 @ O'Reilly Auto on motor oils

Rebate sale @ O'Reilly Auto -- $15 (rebate) off purchases of 5qt jugs of many of their motor oils suitable for the CX-5.

Such as: Mobil 1 0W-20 and 5W-30 full synth; Castrol Edge 0W-20 and 5W-30 full synth; Valvoline MaxLife 5W-30 full synth; some high-mileage variants (of these makers' products) as well. With many of the 5qt jugs priced in the $35-38 range, this results in 5qts of CX-5 compatible full synth 0W-20 or 5W-30 in the $20-23 range. Looks like it applies to however many 5qt jugs are bought. Uncertain how long their rebate will last.

Also, it looks like the Mobil 1 rebate gets you a prepaid visa (spend anywhere) where the other brands mentioned get you an "O'Reilly's" gift card.

Funny. If you build a PC, you'll see mail-in rebates everywhere. It really is like it's still the 2000s.

Watch those prepaid cards, found out the hard way they're not accepted everywhere even though they're VISA. They're issued by a gift company (forget the name) and some restaurants won't take them.

I convert these cards to Amazon credit for this reason. They usually have a short expiration date too but worth it if I don’t forget to use it.
