Ive seen a couple people asking about a place to put thier vacuum tube or power wire through the firewall. The easiest safest seeming place that I could find on the MS3 is through the factory wire harness for the fuse box inside. The entry point is on the passenger side underneath the stock strut mount and behind a heat shield. Figured Id pass it on for everyone!!!!

Oh and on the inside it comes out at about mid point in the dash where the fuse box is, it is somewhat hard to reach, youll need pliers or something to grab what your putting through, another thing is Im not sure of how big of a power wire you could go, I used 4ga and it passed through ok, but 2 may not fit through, and I really doubt 0ga would. ENjoy

WHOA! Wait a sec. There's a fuse panel in the dash??? That would be great as I need a place to tap the power for my Sportster receiver. :D

i can confirm a 0awg will not fit as i had to to drill another access hole right next to that one...

there are plenty of places to tag off of a fused power source not just at the pjb.

Thats sucks.....Like I said It was a decently tight fit for my 4ga....What kind of system are you putting in for 0? Lol I had that in my eclipse, that stuffs like the size of your thumb ;)

Thanks for the info, I just ran 8ga through like a knife through butter. Now I just need to figure out where I want to tap into the Bose system to get the audio to the crossover on my Rockford 300s amp... Thinking maybe the speaker wire going to the rear door speakers.

Myself and another MS3 owner now have a different problem. We both ran the speaker wires straight to the high inputs on our amps, mine is a Rockford and his is an Alpine. Volume adjuster on the amp up all the way, I can barely hear my sub. Its so quiet the stock BOSE sub is drowning it out. The other guy has the same problem. The weird thing is he ran his line outs from under the drivers seat BEFORE the BOSE amp, and I ran mine AFTER the BOSE amp before the wires enter the rear doors. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

On the P5 I think the best spot is under the passenger dash.. jammed a 0ga through (had to cut through the rubber grommet)

did you ground your converter? I have most of my bass turned down on my stock bose deck because it's too loud. lol. also, I hope you are using a line driver, if not, you should really spend the 50 bucks and get a nice memphis one of ebay. It will boost your signal to 6v compared to you running 1.5 or so off the head unit. Makes the signal alot clearer too.
