Just a heads up to people looking for a great tire. (As a preface, I had the Pirelli pNero Zero M&S before, which were also a great tire in a slight upsize from stock to 205/50/16).

Falken Ziex 912 in a 205/50/16

If anyone had the Pirellis before, these IMO are better. They handle better, they grip better (in dry AND rain!!!). I've had them on for about 20k miles, and so far so good. Just like the Pirelli, I rotate em at the 5k oil changes. The best part was I got them for less than $80 a tire!!!!! The Falken have gotten some good reviews with other cars as well.

The poor performance of the Falken Ziex 512 pretty much turned me off of any M+S Falken tire from here on out.

Good to know, as I am thinking about these as a replacement for my wife's Focus...they're not the oem size, but they are cheap all season tires that have many good reviews.

Are they wearing well?

Yep, the 512s were crap. I had those on another vehicle.

With the newer reviews on the 912s and the price was tough to beat, I'd give them a shot, and they turned out great.

i got 912 too. I think they kinna suck in wet...always get wheel spin when i was make a "quickish" right turn in the rain. Drove them on snow too, quite slippy but that's expected.
Other than that, not bad at all. very decent for its price..i got them dirt cheap in a promotion...FTW
