Would look very subtle in black on your midnight blue, or you could go with silver.

trying to add that extra 20 HP that Grapics add Matt? J/K. Whatever you do, please do not do the stipes down the side like the signal cars. That, sad as it is to say, is played out. I love the work signal does, but man, it has been well played by the wanna be ricers. :D

i dont know what you mean by signal.

the line that runs to the back of the car thats boxed out and slowly gets smaller. i like the one i possted and how it accents the fender flars

just becareful, dont put side graphix which represent something else.

example, from the first page, the se-r with the nismo side graphics or the prelude with the mugen side graphics. might throw some people off if a p5 had graphics that represent another company (like nismo, mugen, etc) looking good though with the p-shops

peace

Ok here's my attempt...yes I know I still don't know Photoshop... I suck.
I was thinking the whole straight line thing defys the P5's lines too much and it's played out so I started on a design with some flow to it then I saw the reflection on the car.... and damn if it didn't lay out a nice design itself......
Excuse the roughness around the front fender, I would follow the flares lines there then get more organic as the swoop moved back..... Or you could do something similar but with fine edged straight arcs instead of the splatter

Oh and I would do a Bub Rub cut out for shows as well. WooooWoooo!

Matthew,

I like the 3rd one from the first set, might even do a little mixture of vinyl there like the main section in a flat black with that little unline section in brushed aluminum. Or do the whole thing in brushed aluminum with a flat black shadow effect or even the reverse.

I would highly suggest you stay away from the cf vinyl. You have real cf on your car. Which will seriously make the cf vinyl look even more fake than it does all by it's self. I cut vinyl as an occassional side job and have had people request this stuff from me. After I put it on, they tend to be rather disappointed. If you want to stand out with vinyl you might consider some of the metalic vinyl. I don't meant the metal flake kind but the solid like chrome or brushed aluminum or gold. You don't see them on cars to much because they are such a pain to work with (crease really easy) but look really good when done right ( I personally like the brushed aluminum vinyl) might be something to consider. Oh, and if you do any reflective, besure that the vinyl company does a regular vinyl base under it. The reflective vinyl has an adhesive you would not believe, and getting it off even with an adhesive remove is a serious pain in the butt. Oooh just had a thought. They make some vinyl that's suppose to look like frosted glass. Haven't tried it on a car body but it from the pictures I've seen it seems slightly transparent. Might look interesting for your rollcall.
