I think the HP's would be fine. You might want to consider to get stiffer springs like H&R's, or trying ION lowering springs. Or you could always get the P5 Pro-kit since it only lowers 1.2inch in the back instead of 1.8inch like the sedan springs.

i've had my car loaded seriously to the roof with stuff (including the back and passenger seats) and drove from chicago to toronto with NO problems and never hitting the bump stops....that's with the eibach pro-kit and the stock shocks. nuthing but good to say about the eibach's.

Same here- I have Eibach Pro-kits on my P5 and have driven with the wife and three kids without a problem, even over bumps. The Eibachs have such a good progressive spring rate that even with extra people the tires clear fine and ride is still good.

What about rims???

If you oversized...Be concerned.

I like the way my car rides loaded down - with Spool springs and stock struts. Just a little more dampened than usual :D

If you oversize but keep close to the original overall diameter of the stock wheel/tire combo (23.68") you'll be fine. In fact, my winter wheels/tires are 205/55-15's on standard issue steel rims. The overall diameter is 2/10" taller than stock and I still clear with the family. BUT, I can tell that if I put 205/50's on the stock 16" rims (4/10" taller) with the Eibachs it would probably rub under load or bumps. To that end, I'll be replacing my stock tires with Yoko EV 100's in a 205/45-16 size (4/10" lower overall height than stock combo). Hope this helps.

thanks for the replies guys, as for overall diameter, im thinking 18 since their just a little more than the 17s, but ill see which size rims with proper tire walls will fit closest to stock size.

You might have to modify the inside of the rear fender to accomidate the 18' FATTIES!!:p
