Fuking Jaguar!

This happen a while ago, but every time I see it still pisses me off! And since I washed the car yesterday I got pissed off yet again!

Here is the story a fuking early model Jaguar convertible cut to the right of me when I was turning right merging onto freeway, as soon as I saw him I hit the break and he was RIGHT next to me, I didn't think he hit me so other than giving an angry stare and went like :wtf:? I didn't bother to get out of the car. He took off immediately like at 100mph. Still didn't suspect much I went my way, until I got to my destination I discovered the horror that my right door was dented!!! ******* SON OF A MOUNTAIN *****!!! (rant) I am sure he saw the damage so he just too off.

The pic was taken after I had popped out the biggest dent. It's not that obvious actually but still pisses me off. I went to a couple of body shops, one quote was $850, the other wants $1300. That's just too much money to fix the little dent, so I am going to just wait a little for now, maybe fix it later. :(

just get someone parting out to sell you their door! probably cheaper than a damn body shop...

contact your insurance and file a police report. Your insurance may cover the damage as it was not your fault but you are still stuck paying the dedutible

It looks like paintless dent removal will work. I got a softball sized dent in one of my doors 2 weeks after I bought my P5, right along the upper seam. Took a whole 15 minutes, and I cannot even tell. Only $100, too. Just make sure they are a known company...

My deduc. is $500, and my record with my insurance company hasn't been, what's the word...squeakey clean. ;) Yeah, they basically hate me.

I've looked into it but both places said it's too big for paintless dent removal. s0x0r!

ghey. It does not look to be that big. I went through Dent Wizard for my dent. It does not look to be through the paint, so I think barring crumple zones in the area on the inside of the door, it should be a no brainer. But they know better I guess.

Time to wait, and have the dent pulled and resprayed. Vulturing a yellow door from a fallen P5 is iffy, as the paint fades differently on all cars.

Insurance is a b****. I am glad I am 30, my rates keep dropping. I also got the $100 deductible, as I am sure someone will **** up my car somehow.

I was going down the highway at 70 in the middle lane and a bird flew right into my passenger mirror. The mirror broke off but the wires kept it on. Put a dent in the door too. Insurance said it will be about 436 to repair. I was looking at just getting a mirror on the internet. Shouldn't be too hard to put it on myself and painting it should be that much. Still sucks though I know that bird could see me I didn't even kill him. (burn)

dude, knock on wood. I actually haven't had any accidents/tickets for like 5 years, just a few more month and my last ticket will clear so I am seeing the light. Insurance IS a b****.

I have been in 12 accidents in 15 years. None of them my fault, and the last one 4 years ago, which pushed the rear bumper of my GMC Sonoma into the rear tire at 5 MPH. My CRX was hit like 6 times I think. I am lucky so far, but have had a lot of close calls though in the last year. I have changed insurance so many times, and finally am with Progressive. Lots of good things heard about them. Could not be any worse than AAA. They were my carrier for years, and treated me like s*** for accidents that were not my fault.

Anyway, I would keep looking for a paintless dent removal tech who will at least try to fix it, the dent looks like cake to pop out.

I bough my p5 in September, had it for about 4 days, and it got smashed. I parked on a hill, and a Ford F350 with dualies was parked about 5 spaces up, with no cars between. Their parking brake failed, and it rolled back ... <SMASH> ... and nearly totalled my car. The damage was impressive: new hood, new right fender, repaired left fender, new bumper, new bumper supports, new grille, new headlights, repaired left door and door pillar, straighten front apron, new radiator, new A/C condenser, new radiator brace, radiator expansion tank, radiator hoses, a/c hoses, new battery box, air cleaner intake and box, exhaust head shield, replace coolant, recharge the a/c system, many misc small fasteners and braces, replacement bulbs for headlights and signal lamps, lots of white paint, labor blending paint to match, many kleenex for crying, etc, etc, etc.

Grand total? $7,200. At the time I didn't have a digital camera, so I didn't get any pictures. Trust me, it was ugly.

Lucky for me, the owner of the Ford was insured. My insurance company went after them, and they paid for the whole thing. I was glad, because I had just found it and had only driven the car for a few days, and was already in love. It's an 03, and it had only 10K miles, white with no racks, 5spd, absolulely flawless. It was exactly what I wanted, and I had just paid for tint all around. I had to wait for 3 weeks to get my car back from the shop, and now the non-factory paint chips if you give it a mean look, but at least they didn't total my car and take it away.

Practice taking people's license plates. Your first instinct is to scream (wtf) but what you should be doing in that time is memorizing the plate. Do this anytime someone cuts you off, its a good habit to get into.

(omg) serious? That sucked big time! That much damage on a new car...I would sell the poor thing and get another new P5 that hasn't been in an accident. After that kind of damange the car is just not the same anymore...warped frame...bigger gaps between body panels...
I loved my P5 the first time I saw her. I was deciding between a RSX and a P5, went to Mazda first and was like, hot damn! this is da bomb! Didn't even bother to test drive RSX, lol.

Good advice, my cell phone camera is buffed and ready ever since. :D

I just had no idea that he did hit me, he was driving on bike lane that was half gravel, so between me hitting break, him hitting break and his car sliding on the gravel I just didn't notice. One more time, fuk'em! :(
