Fujita CAI vs. Cobb SRI?

:
08 Mazdaspeed 3 GT
I have the Fujita CAI and ive been hearing that they have the tendency to be a little funky when it comes to tuning and reading airflow. Ive been thinking about getting the cobb sri because of good feedback from others about it and also because it will give me a better response while tuning with the AP. anyone have any input that can help me decide?

I was in a similar situation with an Injen CAI. When I started to calibrate my MAF tables in ATR it was almost impossible to get them right, at least for me. There were dips, spikes, plateaus all over the MAF curve. Air straighteners are the answer and I got a MSCAI2. If the Fujita has a 2.5 MAF housing like the AEM or MS you can just buy the AEM straighteners, cut the CAI just in front of the MAF, get a coupler from siliconeintakes and it should resolve the issues. Or of course get an SRI. Almost every intake vendor now uses straighteners.

Hope this helps.
