Have any of you unichip users experienced fuel cut with the boost controller on?? Last night on the way home from a Promazda meet I think I hit fuel cut. Its never happened to me before, but in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th the car would feel like it cut off and buck really hard. I turned off the boost controller and it wouldn't do it. It was in the lower 50's(coldest its been here for a while). Anybody experienced this, or is my car messed up?

i havent , and it was in the 50s here this morning - guess it might be possible tho if it wasnt doing it at lower boost . was the car warmed up or cold ? i guess i would reset the ecu and try again . i did get a little bucking with a loose clamp once but stoped after fixing .

yup, BUT!!! only because for some reason my car boost to 19psi!!! (not unichip related)

But when i waz only runnin 13, w/ unichip, never.

The car was warmed up, I have no idea, I stopped once and changed maps, and it did it on both maps as well. But with the boost controller off it wouldn't do it. I did have my intercooler pipes off the other day, but they are tight as far as I can tell. I have a fmic if that makes any difference.

Welcome to fuel cut...(lol2) Feels like a brick wall "SLAM" stops dead under WOT.

Looks like whatever I get I will need a JOEP FCD.

Wait until it is cold out then see if it cuts. Mine never cuts in warmer weather but as soon as it goes under the low 50's it will cut in 4th and 5th over 10PSI.
When it drops to the lower 40's it will cut in all gears under WOT over 10PSI.
Of course I do not own a UNICHIP but I would like to know it does in fact get rid of the cut in cold weather.
