fsze misfire code

sup, put a ze in my pro5 last summer, no probs, everything good. I have ram intake, obx headers, 2.5 " all the way back, repositioned o2 to behind the cat, upgraded fuel pump, pressure regulator, 330 injectors, everything ok. Here's my problem. I cut the maf off the 2.5 inch housing, mounted on 3" housing. Air/ fuel is screwed. I've been getting a lean burn and misfire code from about 5500 rpm. I thought it was a fuel problem, but now I'm skeptible.. I cranked the fuel so high it COULDN'T be lean, but codes cever went away. Could it be more along the lines of the crank/ cam sensors are getting out of sync, or maybe all sensor values are out of parameters??
Car runs great, but I hate that damn flashing light. There is no hesitation when driving, and no indication of an actual misfire, I'm lost.
 
so, noone knows anything about a screwed maf sensor or what?? Here's the idea. looking at buying an emanage. talked to the boys at greddy today, they said it would do what i need. I can either re calibrate my existing maf, or eliminate it altogather and go for the upgraded map. so, my question is, have any of you done this?? and if so how are the results??
