I ordered a set of H7 HID 6000K and found out they would void my warranty so now I need to sell them. I am looking for $78+shipping or $78 even for local pickup OBO.

???? That doesn't make any sense to me.

So if you add an amp/sub to your car will that void the warranty as well?

I think they said any electrical problems with the car will not be covered. They were not too specific, but I I didn't want to take any chances.

ugh..damn dealers. Unless the HID's directly cause the problem then you are just fine. As an example, if your stereo stops working, You'll be fine unless the lights somehow caused it.

go to a different dealer if possible or stand up for yourself. I had a dealer try to stick to to me regarding my VVT saying it wasnt part of the powertrain warranty but, I stood up for myself and what I knew was right and got it covered like it should have been.

Maybe I'll look in the owner's manual and check in there. My car salesman said any changes that makes the car move will void my warranty. Headlight don't make the car move at all. It was the service department that told me it will burn out the lens and might void the warranty.

LMAO! i got hid's installed in my low's and fog's. didnt voild mine at all. where do these people get this BS from?

They just said it could void the warranty so I don't want to mess with anything to cause my warranty to be voided. I think its different for different dealerships, but thats what they told me. So if you guys want to ask your dealership, maybe they will allow it. I know it doesn't make sense, but what can I do.

don't sell them, put them in. You will be glad you did and will want them in every vehicle you own. They can only void you warrenty if they can prove that the thing you installed caused the problem. Plus the main part of the warrenty is the drive train and hid ain't going to do it. Hid are a plus if the headlights have wiring issues, that's why I got mine because of the wiring blowing every kind of bulb except the stock one.
