FS-DE Oil System

Yes, $290 plus shipping (around $15 - $20) would be the total. Unfortunately, the pump already sold. I can see if I can locate another pump to do up or you can send one in. Let me know.

Dang, I was just hoping to avoid having to pay full price on a new pump... the one I have in right now is used and the exterior is painted.

Used are okay but the paint would have to removed. Let me see if I can locate a good used pump here.

I have a used and clean pump in my garage right now. I'll even let it go for cheap. Pm me if you're interested.

Thanks Guys for the offer!

If Dmention7 doesn't, I may take you up on them to have some spares around the shop. I have gone through all the good ones we have. PM me what you want.

Thanks!
Tom

If you look at #284 on page 19 of this thread there is a drawing and description of the system. There is a picture of the oil filter relocator on our race car in the first post. Other forum members have posted in this thread pics their systems.
Anyone want to post a new pic of their car with the system?

Thanks!
Tom

Check my build thread. There's some recent pics on there of my setup. And I did the install with my intake mani installed.

would you extend the service to include the Mazda KL v6 Oil Pump (KL0114100J)

The Mazda KL V6 oil pump is of the same general design as that used on the FSDE eg 9 toothed rotor running in a 10 lobe outer (Part number KL0114100J).

The PRV and oil flow arrangement is the same as far as I can establish.

It also has the same lousy reputation as a contributor to early engine failure, once performance modifications (and increased maximum engine revs) are applied,

Would you be able to offer the blueprint/coating and OEM PRV removal service for that pump?

Chris

Yes, we have done pumps for several different motors since most of them have similar shortcomings. If you would like to send it to us we would be happy to look at it to make sure we can service it and quote a price. PM me and I will give you the details.

I want to know how many members are running the prv and coated pump with a remote filter and still using the OE oil cooler.

Me. I have an MSP oil cooler. It is VERY effective. Moreso than an oil to air cooler mounted in the grill.

I have a gap between the bypass adapter and oil cooler with the adapter threaded all the way on
