Totally. Where does he claim to be? Say you need money to ship it. The cost of shipping just went up (shady) . Tell him his check cleared.

My condolences on both the cars. Wow, I never would've thought a Benz would depreciate so fast. Was there insurance on the shop, or did you get anything for the total loss? And I'm sore when my cars depreciate a few hundred

Just saw a thing on SlashDot (I think)--a woman was scammed for 400K. What she did was she sold her paid off house back to the bank in order to send the money into a black hole (no pun intended).

WTF are people thinking?
