Apexi neo; I don't need it for my car. I am interested in selling it or trading it for a p5 bumper, in good condition. Price retails for about $380 new, it is in fine working condition just a few light scratches, all wires intact. Asking price $280 obo.

the apexi is about $370 brand new, mine is in perfect working condition, normal light scratches, im probably gunna ask for like 280 OBO, i need money more than anything so, no trades, unless its for a mechanical part i need, or a front bumper.

on the engine note....didnt have enough money for a build......so i spent it on a turbo kit....installed, my car is running nice right now, i just cant push it on the throttle 100%, going to do a basic repair to make it stable then keep saving....if you only knew my issues with this car man....not having an amazing job doesnt help either.
 
dont mean to thread jack... just wondering if you will be parting out the rest of your P5 or selling it as is?
 
Are you selling your wideband along with the Neo by any chance?
 
it doesnt require a wideband, never came with one either. It might run better with a wideband installed but that's up to the user, it's always displayed everything 100% accurate.
 
So how exactly does the Neo install? I've been doing some research online but I've found limited info of the hardware, just mostly topics of the software. Do you tap into one of your O2 sensors and into the ECU?

My friend has a Sentra SE-R with a NEO and I was impressed with his but he's got a wideband O2 sensor and fuel/ratio gauge. Sorry if I'm asking too many questions or cluttering up your thread. I'm interested in buying it, just want to make sure I've got my facts straight is all. Thanks in advance.

well the way i have the unit hooked up is that it has two plugs, and theyre plugged into 2 ports that are where all the a/c controls and stuff, back there, i dont know if the dude had to do a custom connection or something, but all that i know is that it works fine off that, i researched the manual for the unit and its in a PDF form online, since i dont have a hard copy. the previous 2 owners of my protege destroyed the car and i've done nothing but work to make it better.

I guarantee the unit works, as you can see in the pics, i've never had issues with it, i just dont need it
 
ok... here is some info on the apexi neo since i had one installed...

it is straight forward as an install the wiring harness hooks up at the ECU. nothing goes outside the car, it doesnt require a wide band, however it is nice to have one...


pins are basic..
power, ground tps, rpm, o2 in o2 out, injectors, ..... and i think that is it...
note to seller.....
WRITE DOWN ALL DATA BEFORE UNPLUGGING the unit... ESPECIALLY the sensors portion, airflow sensors.. lol.. i think it is 21/22 but i dont remember to be sure..
