I have owned this car for 3 years and it has been my obsession since day one. After putting a TON OF THOUGHT into it, ive decided to sell my car.
This is #1942, and its a great little car. the inside is very clean except some blemishes on the drivers seat. Exterior of the car is in GREAT shape. A few small and barely noticeble "dings", and no scratches.

This is a MAZDA CERTIFIED CAR, AND HAS WARRANTY UNTIL 100K.

currently it has 86k on it.
Brand new motor replaced under warranty by a mazda dealer, along with a brand new turbo. this was done 5k ago due to a bad piston ring.

the car is slightly modified
MAM fmic
Corksport exhaust with borla muffler
poly motor mounts
626 intake mani
SSAFC tuned at 9psi
lowered on eibach prokit.
new dunlop direzza tires upfront
tinted windows
exedy stage 1 also 5k on it
aem wideband
colder plugs (ofcourse)

ALL STOCK PARTS ARE INCLUDED I MEAN ALL
i purchased the car with roughly 40k on it and slowly started modding it.
it runs and drives great, no raddles or squeeks

Im curious.....Do you live in the city of Chicago? Or outside in the suburbs? I looked at a couple MSP's that were located in and around the city and they were in bad shape due to the roads.....and just cities themselves are not vehicle friendly. Pics looked great online, until you walked up to it. I may be interested in purchasing an MSP for the wife next month.

If you need the cash, I would take the Carmax offer. By this time next year, that's probably all that the MSP will book at. (private party anyway) Unless someone really wants a Mazda you can get a much quicker car $7k.

+1. Unfortunately, these cars' values have really tanked. I overpaid for mine about a year ago and I know I'll never make my money back on it. Your car looks good though, I would imagine it would be worth $6500 to somebody.

more in the suburbs... car is in good shape... there is no scratches (not any visible ones anyway) the bumpers are not beat up like you would think.. the front bumper does have some wear , but thats normal for 86k.. O and there is a spot on the front pass door from where some fuckers threw an egg.. nothing terrible.

well come on! lol... seriously, the car needs nothing.. suspension and drivetrain are all in good shape. PLUS MAZDA WARRANTY. lol pm me if you want more details.

how did you tune an SS AFC to 9 PSI? that unit only allows for fuel control, and has nothing to do with the turbo PSI...

sorry i thought it was a given..lol there is also a forge boost controller on the car.. i meant that its actually tuned, not that the boost was only raised
