When I was working at a real estate office one of the Realtors sold a house that if you ever got locked out you could live on the fruits and veggies in their yard alone. They had a plum tree, peach tree, orange tree, grapefruit tree, strawberries, lotsa different veggies, cherry tree, herbs, everything. It was amazing, I just stared at their landscape plan for, like, a half hour and it was all perfectly laid out to be aesthetically appealing as well. Very nice. (2thumbs)

We used to have a plum tree in Colorado and I can't say I've had better peaches than when I was visiting my aunt in South Carolina one summer. Peaches and fireworks!!! :p

Fruit - in its strict botanical sense, the fleshy or dry ripened ovary of a plant, enclosing the seed or seeds. Thus, apricots, bananas, and grapes, as well as bean pods, corn grains, tomatoes, cucumbers, and (in their shells) acorns and almonds, are all technically fruits.
