We oiled up the axle nuts on my car for several days: Standing on a breaker bar couldn't get them to budge, but mysteriously a cheap harbor freight electric impact wrench did the job.
We remain shocked to this day.
If you can do it yourself you should eh? It just needs a lot of oiling and stuff. Oh also, the nut has like a thin part that's meant to be dented into a slot in the axle- make sure you un-dent that. Maybe the force put on the nut to remove it would do the un-dent-ing, but it's just something else to look at/be familiar with if you haven't already noticed it
