- is this a handling/suspension upgrade. how would i install one on a 2002 es 2.0 automatic. i know i need brackets, i plan to get a msp bar. what can i expect to feel once i install the mod.

you will feel the front end stiffen up a good amount. taking turns feels better and it helps alot.

installed mine few weekends ago, ill never go back. i plan on upgrading more suspension stuff to stiffen the car up. o yes.

oooo i like the sound of this cant wait now.

i have another question. if u install lowering springs will that have a negative effect on anyother suspension part of my car

the installation is pretty straight forward. just bolt on and make sure everything is tightened down.

of course tons of things can be upgraded when you lower your car, well it is recommended you upgrade these parts.just to name a few, front and rear sway bar/bushings/end links ( preferebly adjustable), and most importantly the struts. some springs have more than a safe drop so your struts will go bad quicker. i recommend tokico's in any case of using lowering springs, it just helps you in the long run.

It's a great mod to tighten up the front end and even better if you've done a suspension upgrade.

I've got a pdf copy of the install instructions if you want.

10mm Flange Nuts 9994-01-003B (4)
6mm Flange Nut 9989-10-600 (2)

ye Man id really like to take a look at them if u wouldnt mind

Thanks for the parts list! I've got a bar sitting in the garage that I haven't installed yet since I didn't want to cut up the stock bracket for the solenoid. This will help alot!

If you've got cruise control, you'll need the mounting hardware anyway, but a lot of people swear by using an aftermarket strut bar instead of the stock one. Since the stock bar does stiffen up the front by a lot vs none at all, but it still does flex quiet a bit vs something like a GT spec bar.

I did this a few months ago and I wont ever go back to not having one either. I can take turns so much faster now with less effort, I love the feel of the front end with the strut bar. Its gonna be even better when I get this thing lowerd:) Oh, and its a real easy install.

Ive acually heard of people going back to stock after having a GT spec bar, they all do the same thing anyways so I guess its just a personal opinion.

I never noticed the difference until I took it off, a lot less control during turning

No, just need the money, but I think I'm going to put it back, now that I felt the difference...

There not much, I think they have them at the dealer for cheap. Unless someone around here has one.
