Front seats padding

2014 CX-5 GT Tech
After giving our new CX-5 GT/Tech, the benefit of the doubt, and after to 4 320 mile trips. I"m totally convinced that the front seats (I haven't tried the rear ones), are horrible, very hard and could use a lot more cushion.
My butt got numb, and needed to reposition myself constantly.
I'm I the only one with this problem?

I have the sport and still agree. My hour each way trip to work is getting old. Im looking at getting a cushion of some sort.

I was a little concerned the first time I got into a CX-5, but since then I have no problem with them. They are designed that way to increase the driver-road connection like a sports car. I can see where not everyone would love them though.

For me it is more the shape of the seat, it doesn't conform to me as well as some so I end up with pressure points. But Mazda didn't call me when they were designing the seats so I figure they didn't mold it exactly to me

I'm with you all here - the seats are pretty uncomfortable for me for anything over an hour. My rear is a bit too big, so the bolster on the left hand side hits the side of my hip in a way that becomes quite uncomfortable. This is worse in the cloth seat cars. I have done one 1000 mile RT drive, and it was not great. I have the feeling that if I weighed about 50-60 lbs less I might not have this issue.

No doubt, butts vary in size. At 210 labs and 6'-04" I generally feel like automotive seating surfaces are generally too big to offer the kind of support I prefer (the side bolsters generally go unused). But the CX-5 seats fit me like a glove and remain comfortable on multi-hour trips.

I think the seats in my 2010 F-150 were designed for 300+ pounders, absolutely horrible for my butt.
