Front motor mount

that is what i am replacing my motor mounts with the AWR mount, well just the first one. Mine didnt come with any bolts or nuts(AWR).Should i have gotten some? Can you show me a pic of what u are talking about?

anyone know what that rusty lookinh little box is behind the two mount screws?
 
that 17mm nut, i cant get loose for anything, what can i do to get it loose, is there any special trick. If i standing over the engine bay, to i pull the wrench towards me or away from me?

towards you, soak it in some wd40 or such then come back in a few mins. I cant picture doing it from the top though, i would think it would be much easier from underneath. It is on there tight, you have to make it nice and tight when you re-install the awr also.
 
yup did mine the exact same way paulmp3 did his. and did my buddies p5 the same way. just remember: righty tighty, lefty loosie.
 
i dont see why its being so hard to come off? I just soaked it in some wd-40 and it wont even budge
 
what kind of wrench are you using

it is tight u need a breaker bar, or add a length of pipe to your 1/2" socket
 
i mean a 1/2" drive 17mm.

what is the size of your wrench 3/8: or 1/2"
how long is the handle of the wrench?
 
it is a long handled socket wrecth that does have the ratchet feature. yet swivels in the other direction. If all you have is a 1/2 ratchet just try and find a strong pipe to slide over the handle to give some extra torque. the longer the handle the less pressure needed.
