front licence plate

I was lucky enough to get mine before the dealer installed the bracket. No holes in my bumper!

painted screws if you want to go cheap, and professional bondo and paint work for the expensive.

I told/asked my dealer 5 times NOT to drill the front bumper. When I went to get the car, guess what? They drilled it. SO, I made them swap a bumper from another car that hadn't been drilled yet.

So, no holes for me either!! :D

the license plate sorta saved the paint on my bumper

it's all bent up from people hitting my ride

Jzpeed_03 - What I did was buy some of those plastic poppers that you use for the plastic panels in any car. I guess a example would be like a plastic screw with a flat top. You can buy these at any automotive stores. Then I went to the dealership got touch up paint. I just popped them in, painted the tops with touch up paint and voila! Here's a pic.

im trying to figure out where to put my liscense plate on my buddy club kit when i get it put on :o

i got a ticket once for no front plate... i had a souped (is that how u spell it?) acura integra and got pulled over just for no front plate.

it was a pain in the arse to go downtown and wait at the courthouse etc, it got dropped but i still had to pay like $30 and spend like 4 hours of my time there...

not fun, so now i run a front plate.

I took the plate and plate holder off of the bumper and filled in the holes with plastic screws that I busted off then sanded then painted.

Then I flipped the license plate holder around and mounted it on the lower part of the front air damn, it kind of looks like it is floating in the "mouth" of the nose of the car.

I have also seen guys stick the plate into the "mouth" of the front end and that looks good as well.

The jackasses at Courtesy Mazda (Las Vegas, NV), put the plate on even though I told them not to!! And to top it off...they drilled three holes (one looks like they slipped while trying to drill)

So...if I want to take the plate off, i'm going to have to do some body work to repair their screw up!!!:wtf:

But, it would be cool if MazdaSpeed or this board made a plate cover like the Neuspeed one. I'd get one in a heart beat!!!
