i used the 3m emblem adhesive that you can pick up from walmart/autozone. i tried wiggling the thing and it won't budge!

My license plate is on that side! I was thinking about doing the emblem placement there as well but cant now lol ..

I like the red striping though! BM as well and have been tossing around an idea to have MAZDASPEED placed on the bottom part of the driver and passenger side front doors in red vinyl outlining. Have a good friend who does all of toyota, phillies, nets, knicks, giants, jets and lots of others vehicle wraps.
