Front end sounds???

I am hearing a sound from the front end of my MP3 the last few days. It is coming from the left front and it sounds like something is loose. Anyone hear this or have this problem before?? I hear it when I go over bumps, and it is not a clunk or squeek, sounds like something is loose.I checked yesterday and I did not see anything loose or broken. I am stumped??? Maybe the left front strut or something around there??? I would like to get some input before I take it to the dealer-still under warranty till 06 or 75k miles. I did not hit any potholes or anything like that. It just started happening. Anyone, Anyone?.?.?.?

see if your battery is tightened down. I was going to say grease your sway bar bushings, but you said its not squeaking. Mine is doing it now that it's getting colder and the bar has shrunk, but those things are a pain to get to.

hey does it sound like its about to fall off when u hit a bump or somethin? like the thing sounds like its shaking apart? if it is im havin the same problem had it for about 2 months now still cant figure out the problem.. i think its the strut n its goin bad i have no real way of testin it but i been drivin on it for about 2 months n still fine but it just happnes when i go up on my drive way or i hit a bump but if u figure out the problem plz post thanks

my whole suspension is shot evey bump i hit it makes a squeaking noise so i know what your talking about.

people its def the struts because my car has all the noises you guys are saying and i took it to a tech and agreed its the struts. this car has a great suspension but doesnt last.

how much horse power do you have and how much did you get your cams for. because i would be pissed if i put all that into my car and ran 15's.

i had a terrible noise coming from the front passenger side of my car after i had my new clutch and flywheel installed. believe it was the motor mount above the tranny/tranny mount. looks like it was bottoming out (metal to metal) making a horrible noise when speeding up going over bumps.....i put a AWR front AT mount and that pretty much tightened up the slop everywhere in the engine bay (engine lash which madza 2.0's are notorious for). i have heard the noise once when driving the car hard in boston, driving over some rough roads pulling onto the Mass Pike.......oh-well?

Do you think that Mazda will give me a problem when I take it in?? I dont think that the strut should go at 31k or anything in the front end. It is a loose sound when I go over bumps. The car rides fine otherwise, handling and all. I do not see signs of strut leakage or suspension floating, sagging. Any other suggestions?? Anyone else go through this??

yea the squeekin i think is from those stupied front bushin (all the bushin sucks mostly) but yea the noise thats made on my car is somethin way worst it sounsd like metal hitin metal n it sounds like its about to fall off but its not im most definetly sure its the strut because i was n a accident about 2 years ago n the person who towed my car completely bent my front driver strut inward becasue i had a broken control arm n he said the strut would b fine shows how much tow truck drivers no wtf

I've had some experience with Tokico's in the past on other cars (civic's to be exact), and when they wear out, it almost sounds like they are loose and knocking around (like solid metal slapping metal). People in my car would even say it sounds like something is loose. Everytime I would look under the car and check everything, and I mean everything, I would never find anything. So when I got around to pulling the struts off, they were definately shot and once replaced, that knocking noise went away. I even had to replace them twice in a year and half. Great product, but they wear quickly (from my experience only).

Hopefully that helps. But I would definately check everything else first. Like the other guys said, check the endlinks and sway bar and make sure the bushings aren't shot.

But if it leads to nothing that you can see. I would be willing to bet your Tokico's need to be replaced.

yup, 5 months still got it here too.... but mine only happens in 1st goin to 2nd, 2nd goin to 3rd and sometimes 3rd goin to 4th gears. when i push on the clutch it makes a clicking noise... ya like it clicks then goes away till you push the clutch in again.... i mean my transmission is hard to shift gears... but i doubt its the gears messing up. i no i have a bent endlink, anyone know if thats the problem.. i mean it makes like a vibrating metal sound when i take a left turn sometimes. so theres something wrong on my driver front, still waitin for answer too... i might take it to the dealer and have them look at it for like 90 dallors..... so gay i hate stealerships....

Could that be a motor mount problem? Sounds like it could be.
