The Evo is now gone. Decided I needed a new car after some recent problems. The Evo is truly a race car sometimes not very easy to drive on a day to day basis especially when modified. I will miss it, but this will help ease the pain.

Brand new 2008 Mazdaspeed3 Sport in sunlight silver metallic. I love this car already and haven't even fully broken it in.

I know the plates don't fit the car....gotta figure out a new plate for it.

hey, i go to the gap a few times every year, let me know how the MS3 runs their if you get a chance to take it down..im think of getting an MS3 in 09, but mabey an STI(used) 05-06ish.. my main concern is the power through the front wheels in the tight stuff..what are your driving impressions as of now?

Good choice man. You got a much better daily, but your right the Evo is a race car, and I definately miss mine sometimes. Atleast most of your headaches that come along with owning an Evo will be gone. Enjoy!

I had an evo 8 too. i miss it as well, but I have really enjoyed my ms 3 so far. it is an economical and practical sports car, kind of a weird concept.

I see I am not the only one that went from an Evo to a MPS3. I don't regret it since a lot of the issues that came with the 03 were pretty major.

Don't really have any driving impressions of this car since this is the second day I have owned it. Handling wise it handles very good compared to the Evo (with that car the tires made the difference).

I will be going down to the Dragon late Sept, early Oct.(drinks)

yes... a gapmeet is in hand.. i go down every year for miatas at the gap.. for the past 7 years or so.. also spring and or fall run as well.. let me know how you like the car..my car now is set up for the gap, which is what i want.. i want a car the same and or better in the gap..when you get a chance to play with it.. let me know your feelings on the car.. is it really all that great? can it compete in a place like the gap? etc.. thanks -j

I was surprised on how easily I could get the MS3 to oversteer. All you hear about FWD is understeering into curbs and stuff, but this car you can oversteer into a corner if you let off gas right before the turn.

Dude, congrats. Yeah, after joining the Mazda family (I also owned an Eclipse), the MS3 is in my radar. You live close by so come this summer, hit me up so we can attend meets and shows.
