Alot of the FC3S's came with a back seat. But if you dont need one, I'd either go with a GSL-SE or a FD3S.

which year/model FC's came with backseats??????????????

You have to remember that he should still have his MSP... A quick Engine swap and wheels (if they are still good) You got yourself a MSP. Depending on wether the shocks are blown or not he could use the Suspension from that car. Replacing the ES sway bars will be nice. Taking the LSD out of the transmission would be very nice as well. You could even take out the full interior and swap it over. STereo System... Victor if you are in any way considering of buying say.. a used Protege ES talk to me and I will see what I can do about the motor swap and how much it will cost.

must be tiny backseats, because there ain't no space back there!!!
I've seen them for sale in the For Sale section of RX7club, both first and second gen!

I"m sure they are tiny...

i'd agree with you but im not so sure whats left of the outside or motor i mean u've seen the pictures

True, I think it would be nice project. We have a Customer with the Protege ES coming in to have a MSP Suspension Conversion. I just think it would be neat =) All in all they are the same motors, just oone has a turbo.

Why would he still have his MSP? I am sure that is a total, and then the insurance company takes possesion. They may offer to sell it back cheap, but unless it was paid for, which it wasn't, he won't get it back.

Nobody mentioned the ITR? My first love when I got into the fast pocket-rockets scene. Should be a good buy now if you can find one that's not beat up.

How about a higher mileage WRX? hee hee.

240sx.... drool....

I mean, if you plan on future modifications and stuff.

I got my MSP because I totaled my '96 MX-6 (rest in peace) this summer. They're not too expensive and I personally like the body design better than the probe. If you want a car that handles, the 4cylinder with a manual is great because of the weight distribution. If you want straight line acceleration, the V-6 is the way to go, but it's a little nose heavy.

I can also vouch for the safety systems in the MX-6. The seatbelts work great and the airbags do deploy when they are supposed to.

Oh... and insurance isn't too bad either.

Good luck

i would go with a 01 es protege and try to save up for the turbo kit.

see!
i didnt even think of MX6 or 240sx.
i like both of those.........umm, is the MX6 rear wheel drive ?:) sorry, i'm not familiar with it.

why not a early 90s supra? pretty cheap and with a upgraded turbo these cars run strong. I see them here where i live all the time for sale and they are not that much at all. Just food for thought......

judging by what u have said, i say definitely go with a orange msp.

and the fact that they dont have any left enar you can be seen as a positive - you can pick up a used one for crap cheap probably
