Honestly, the FC3S is the best bang for the buck. 4500 gets you a Turbo II with most likely a newer engine.

if you're looking for a FC, find a late year ones, like 90-91

quite a few changes under the hood to simplify things and make it more reliable

Id say '02 WRX but im a bit biased you can sometimes find a stage 2-3 wrx for around 18k-20k at www.clubwrx.net in the personal sales...
