Free Photoshop (....almost)

Just wanted to lend a hand to anyone out there who wants/needs Photoshop but doesn't wanna spend all the $$$. There's a free Linux program called "The Gimp" that now has a Windows version and it is nearly identical to Photoshop. It has all the same options/menus/pallettes/etc. so anyone who has used Photshop will find everything very familiar. I've got this running on my Win2K box and it works awesome. Check it out:

[for the lawyers] But that's pirated software...and pirated software is bad mmm-kay. [/for the lawyers]

Paint shop pro doesnt let you do the Cels like you can with Photoshop. Buts its real easy to use for other stuff. I dont know who in there right mind would pay the $ Adobe wants for their crap. Subscribe to a good newsgroup service and download away.

one word for ya....kazaa, but we all know that downloading is wrong, and you should only use kazaa if you want to be charged;)
