Fpr?

Wheir can I get a FPR for our car. Will one from a miata or rx-7 work for our car. Or just how I can make one work. Any info appreciated.

Aftermarket but not a 8:1, a 1:1. A regular fuel pressure regulator. Not a step up.

i got an obx copy - monza i think was the brand. same thing. got it from ebay

i've removed the vacuum line from both the stock pressure regulator and the add on so that the fuel pressure is high in the low rpm where i'm lean and less pressure up in the top rpms where everyone is not. seams to work. gained 1.6whp from it (woot woot)

well probably more than 1.6whp because i have the big brakes which would reduce power to the wheels

it was an australian ebay dealer, but i'm sure there are hundreds on ebay that are obx or obx renamed.

the one i have is like the 3 along the top of the picture there. i got a blue one and painted it black. i also removed the pressure gauge as i have a defi fuel pressure gauge and i put the sender unit there.

Not to bring up a old thread but I want to know if that FPR worked.

well i know mine seams to be working well. will probably bump up the fuel pressure at low rpm a bit more soon to see if that helps some more

Was it able to be boltd to the fuel rail or did you have to mount it somewhere?

i mounted it right above the throttle body on the intake manifold. i figured that was a good place
