This is the Onderground kit for the 99-00 Proteges. Im putting myself out on a thin branch here posting this because I have seen that most people on this forum aren't very fond of radical kits and such. But Im excited and I want to share it for those who are interested enough to look at it.

I know the wing isnt everyones favorite thing and I am eventually going to change it so any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I put a lot of hard work into this kit. I waited 2 months for it because of shipping problems with Onderground Design, fitted the kit, sanded the hell out of it with different grades of sand paper till I was happy with it, and painted it. So all the work was done BY ME :)

Without further adeu here is my mazda:

The only complaints I have were the wait and the hood overlaps the grill. Other than that the kit fits perfectly and they even have the fender stamps.

The front is lil to much for me, the back and side skirts look nice. It looks like a nice install, I can appreciate that, since I did my own on my civic also :) Good work, and to each his own, in taste :)

lol
Actually no. I want to start workin on it again. I only wish I could have repainted the entire car for NOPI. :)

it sure has come a long way from the days of the wheel covers and 14" rims, eh? looking sweet. how long before nopi now? have you scraped anything yet?

i must say, the exhaust looks really good. and for the price, can't be beat.

lol. Thanks. I only did it because I got pulled over for my old one.

Ive scraped on my drive way. :( But I did that before I had the kit painted only fit...though after I put the skirts on I scraped on them trying to get into the driveway...guess I cant win.

Very nice Jo!!! Looks great!!! You said that you are looking for a different tail. I would either go with the MP3/MSP wing or the New MSP wing. Thats just my opinion. Keep up the great work---Todd

Looking good. Scraping is something you will just have to get used to. I also scrape sometimes when pulling into my driveway too quickly. Good to see you got some mesh behind that bumper. I would also have to recommend the MSP/MP3 wing, but I am a bit partial to it myself.

Me and you are in the same boat right now. Trying to finish the interior and a system setup. I am going to put in about a 2000w system with a false floor. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. Im not sure where I want to go with the interior or the system. the system sounds good all I have to do is make it asthetically pleasing. The interior: Im trying to decide if I want to get new seats or reupholster my old ones and I have NO carpet. Im soooo ghetto

theres one of my system in there and an interior shot

i agree with the getting rid of the wing, and the front bumper is a bit extreme for me, but i sure love the color, and the install is clean as hell, as is the paint job...you could have hooked up a kia rio but if you did all the work yourself you are well deserved to get some serious props!

Ha ha thanks Razor I have had some horrible experiences with body shops and I went lookin for places to have it painted at but I found a lot of flaws and people just werent proud of what they did. The only one that was worth anything was the guy that did the F&F2 cars and I didnt have the kind of Cash he was looking to get outta me for it so I said screw it how hard can it be. I enlisted the supervision of some good friends freaked out because I didnt think the base coat was going to be enough but when the clear went on it all changed. I love the color and I dont plan on changing it. The hardest part was the ftting because I had never done it before and was so afraid that I was going to mess it up.
