My mate designs radar cruise control systems and he says that getting the badge right is one of the hardest tasks - to make the cameras miss the logo. Only the MRCC uses the grill emblem. It has nothing to do with the SCBS which uses the windshield camera.

By George you are right! Forgot that MRCC is the only sensors behind the emblem

Next generation might be better

Most certainly.. mine is an older LIDAR based system. I think the best thing it did in the day was set off radar detectors.
