The same no graphics lots of ALT text thing? I haven't experienced it today.

I'm not getting the alt text problem, but all of the vb images seem to be missing.

I am not able to start a new thread. Everytime I try to submit a post that starts a new thread I get this error message

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/mazdamp3/www/vb354/includes/functions_search.php on line 219

Is this something on my end or a server problem. Can anyone help me out?

30 secs is a standard time limit set in the server configuration for executing php scripts...not your fault.

I can't figure out why it should take longer thatn 30 seconds though. I am on a T1 line and can up/download a lot in 30 seconds.

usually it's the max_input_time paramenter which is responsible for reception of get/post data such as file uploads.

if an execution_time error comes up, i guess the functions_search.php is trying to do something with the stuff you just uploaded/attached... i'm not familiar with the internals of VB, i can't say anything specific about it.

I've been having the problem all day too. It's all good though, making the forum slow and painful allows me to get a lot more real work done

I have the same issues. I am using the latest firefox and have issues in IE although not exactly the same. Its making the forums VERY hard to use.
