can anyone take the time to give me instructions on installing my Bypass Valve. thanks for your help if you know

also, can you explaine the different springs and which one i should use? i heard the blue one is recommended...

Use groove-joint or slip-joint pliers to back off the spring clamps.

Remove the two bolts holding on the stock unit. Make sure you retain the gasket with the original unit. Put the Forge on, tightening the bolts finger-tight, making sure the included gasket doesn't get out of its channel.

Reconnect the hoses, making sure the clamps settle into the marks on the hoses (you can use the clamps that came with the Forge, but I don't think it's necessary).

Tighten the bolts to the recommended amount (snug with a socket is fine, there may be some recommended ratings in the installation documentation).

I used the blue spring and one shim at first. Now, I'm using the blue spring and two shims.

thanks for responding.
i actually just went out and winged it and did a test drive. one question though, what are the shims. i installed it with the blue spring, and nothing else. where do the shims go and what is their purpose?

The shims are the two metal circles that come in the box, open up the bpv take out the spring, put the two shims in first, then spring, then cap. Each shim is worth about an extra .5-1psi required for the bpv. I'm also running blue and 2 shims.

Roughly 15.5psi, I believe. But remember, the computer will use as much boost as is necessary to create the horsepower it's supposed to. Weather affects computers heavily.
