Forge back to stock BPV - odd effect.

I can't think of any good explanation for this except my imagination. Can anyone think of why this might happen?
I recently removed my Forge V2 BPV and put the stocker back on, mostly because I was curious to see if there was any real difference. If anything, entirely subjective, I know, it feels smoother back to stock, with no noticeable drop in power, generally. What I have noticed is that the power cut when accellerating with the wheels turned appears to be much worse with the stock bpv back on. I can't think of a good reason for this, though. Any thoughts other than my evaluation that it is all in my head?

i have no idea, but i am having issues getting my bpv to hook up to my fmic and stuff so if you could post a pic of your setup it might maybe would help me. lol

did you check the o rings? One of the seals could have been gone in the Forge and caused a leak. Although i have noticed a difference anytime I put my stocker back on as well. Just out of curiousity....why did you switch it out? are you selling it?

I had most of what bolts on removed to get access to the EGR valve and while I was under the hood I just decided to see what difference there was.
I'm going to put it back in and see if the effect goes away.

The problem is with the stocker, not the Forge.

The only thing I can think of is that the Forge, with its heavier spring, is a little slower to dump pressure from the intercooler when the boost drops due to the ecu actuating the wastegate. This might be carrying me through until the wheels straighten back out again. The boost may be dropping with both BPVs, but it isn't as severe for a couple of seconds with the Forge.

Which reminds me, I still need to replace the BPV hose. Someone was kind enough to post a link to a flexible hose before, but of course I cannot find it now. Anyone know a source?

your probably just used to the way one drive, or maybe you should reset your ECU to see if it helps when your motor has to recall how little air that it gets compared to the forge dumping under heavy pressure. ? my car tends to drive like crap after I took off my Turbosmart to clean and with the stock on there is like a massive drop in throttle response and punch.
