How is that the Aussies get these V8 powered 4 door beasts and we don't?

I wonder how fords version compares to the one from Holden (Chevy version). Also, they have a V8 touring sedan series. Lucky bastids :(

why does it look like ford stole some design guys from mazda? it totally looks like an MP3 / Mazda6.

why did ford have to make this :(

did anyone notice that it also comes in Orange? Even wears SP9000's

i've never fully understood why people always rip ford as a company when they produce some really awesome cars...look around the world and ford has done a pretty good job...maybe not in the states but elsewhere they've done great...

good example with the australian v8s (awesome sleepers), plus the focus has held up in wrc, europe gets the focus rs, some parts of europe still have the puma challenge series, and who can forget the gt40

thumbs up to ford...even more when they team up with cosworth...maybe we'll see those cars someday

why should i care how good the cars are in australia if they wont bring them over here in the country i live in?

OMG!!! did you look at that suckers engine!!! 5.7L, makes 389 H.P., and cranks out 383 ft-lbs of TORQUE!!

OH I WANNA MOVE DOWN UNDER!!!!

The V-8 Supercars in Australia are cool as hell. I've wanted a Ford Falcon XR-8 since I saw the series the first time. They seem to handle better than the Holdens, but the Holdens look to have more torque from the corners.

And that car looks cool...Moving to Australia looks better and better each time I see what they have.

well ford does own a big part of Mazda. So i'm not surprised.

Just going through the site and stumbled over this old thread. You can clearly see that a couple of guys at Mazda stole design cues from Ford(note: DEC 2002 start of this thread). The most obvious, the rear spoiler that they so happen to have on the 2003.5 MSP and didn't think no one would notice. Even the front bumper looks like the MSP, fogs included. To tell you the truth, this whole car looks like an oversized MSP. Not to crack on Mazda for being copycats, but I thought they were surposed to disassociate themselves from Ford. :wtf:???
