The V-8 Supercars in Australia are cool as hell. I've wanted a Ford Falcon XR-8 since I saw the series the first time. They seem to handle better than the Holdens, but the Holdens look to have more torque from the corners.

And that car looks cool...Moving to Australia looks better and better each time I see what they have.

Interestingly enough, I got to stop in Australia on my way home from the Gulf and got to see the XR-8 and the XR-8 GT in person. Cool cars.

The GT has 290 kW out of a 5.4 liter DOHC V-8...Rear-wheel drive with a fully independant rear suspension. HOLY COOL!

And it looks nothing like a Mazda. The pictures don't do it any justice in my book. The Falcon is the only Ford built in Australia.
