Hmmm, PORSCHE Fixing the Automotive World One Part At A Time.
They have refined it to the point that there is no lag at all. The Car behaves like a Big N/A monster with a near linear torque curve.

Vw has had that on their Tdi's for awhile now. They get stuck all the time and give the car very low boost.

Porsche is now offering this diferent design of variable that has eliminated the reliability issue associated with the OLD DESIGN.
This is a production turbo.
